Enhancement of Blast Resistance of R.C Beams Using Micro/Nano Silica in Presence of Steel Fibers

An analytical investigation using ABAQUS/Explicit dynamic analysis was carried out to investigate the effect of Micro/Nano silica in presence steel fibers on improving response reinforced concrete beams. According results Magnusson and Hallgren's experimental investigation, FE model has been well verified calibrated. The finite element test program extended further study tensile reinforcement ratio by (0.5%, 0.78%, 1.13%) comparing with enhancement concrete’s material behavior tested R.C beams under blast loading. where compared terms changes max deflection at mid-span flexural toughness values. showed that combination between compressive characteristic is necessary case high reduce brittle structure element, especially when elements exposed a strain rate loading due addition value (DIF) for properties which make stiffer than usual, quasi-static condition.
